JWT Mexico outdid themselves on this one for Nike. The innovative agency built three vehicles. Two of the vehicles are in the shape of a pair of sneakers. The leading one was in the shape of a soccer ball. The agency drove the sneakers behind the soccer ball as if the soccer ball was about to be kicked. Wow… Something different for a change. Good show!

Sean “Diddy” Combs announced today that his Bad Boy South record label has inked a multi-artist deal with well-known Southern hip-hop label, Block Enterprises. Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment and parent company Warner Music Group will be involved in the marketing, promotion and sales of several Block Enterprise artists.
The 24th annual Harry Jerome Awards are to be held on April 29th 2006. These awards are held by the Black Business and Professional Association.

A new study finds that an MBA may be overrated. In our community however, we know that you always have to be the best and the brightest in the room at all times. Although this is newsworthy, it may not be practical for us. Any degree is a door opened for us. This would be a great show topic. Your thoughts are welcome.

The Triple Six Mafia win an Oscar for the title song from the movie “Hustle and Flow” entitled “It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp”. Whoa! This is a bittersweet victory. As we are very happy that they won the Oscar, why does color only appear when blacks are portrayed as Pimps, Dirty Cops and Whores? I’m surprised that Terrance Howard didn’t win for Best Actor. I mean, he WAS a pimp, was he not?
